The PRIDE Project is led by, Ali Pearson (they/them) Queer/Gender Queer, PhD student in Social Work Fall 2021, and graduate of MSW in social justice and Diversity stream at the University of Toronto, and a student of a collaborative study of Sexual Diversity . Through lived experience and passion for social ADVOCACY the PRIDE project was evolved from insight and determination to make a difference. with the AWARENESS of how difficult it is for youth to navigate heteronormative systems. We actively advocate for safer spaces for Queer* and Trans* folx.The Pride project was founded in 2016 by Helen Scott and Ali Pearson.

Krista McCracken

Krista McCracken (they/them) is a trans, non-binary, queer archivist and public historian. They are passionate about creating braver spaces for dialogue and about creative spaces for queer* community gatherings. Alongside Kalani Adolpho and Stephen G. Krueger they are co-editor of the forthcoming book "Trans and Gender Diverse Voices in LIS."
