Case Study One:

A Queer international student who have moved to canada so that they can be out is concerned that the roommate that they have been assigned is from the same city.  The queer student is terrified that they will be outed to there family at home by their roommate.


Case Study Two:

A AFAB student approaches you saying that they are uncomfortable sharing a room with a lesbian student. Their religion and upbringing tells them that this ‘lifestyle’ is wrong.  They are uncomfortable with them holding hands or kissing in shared spaces.


Case Study Three:

In the townhouses a student wishes to put the trans flag in the living room, their roommates are afraid that other students will think that they are trans and don’t want them to put up the flag. 

Case Study Four: 

A student who is not out, discloses concerns regarding their mental health, how do you fill out a reporting form while not outing the students for their identity.
