Neuro Queer Clinical Care

I wanted to respond to the question related to getting teased from the headband example I used. PEERS talks about teasing and bulling as two different things. Teasing is very common and when we respond in ways outlined in the video it often stops. Unlike bulling which is dangerous and needs to be addressed. Teasing can become bullying so having the skills to respond to teasing is important. So in my headband example the child should so should be prepared and have practised some responces to teasing. The process of making them up can be really fun. In PEERS we call this teasing the tease.
